I've been selling since I was 16 years old.
I would use the same frameworks and some would buy and some wouldn't.
I never really could figure out why.
Even as one of the early certified NLP trainers, it simply didn't answer my questions.
Some people would give objections, some wouldn't, even if I'd done all the elicitation correctly.
I began to have inklings into this problem for years, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.
Then I realized a big assumption everyone makes.
That assumption is that reframing is the core skill of influence.
When in business, it sets you up to fail.

If you're reframing,
the frame was already lost.

Reframing isn't the problem. It tells you the structure of the conversation was never set correctly in the first place.

The frame defines what people are able to consider.
It also defines what's outside of their consciousness entirely.
If you can elicit the protector element of who they are, that's a whole different conversation than if you elicit their buyer personality.
One comes with massive objections.
The other doesn't.
If the frame is about how to protect their future, that's vastly different than what something costs and what the features are.
